Rotorua Lakes Council are in search of a capable and enthusiastic Great Rides Trail Manager. This newly created fixed term role will be responsible for the development and management of the Great Ride experience within the Rotorua area.
We are looking for a self-starter with strong communication and engagement skills to develop and co-ordinate NZCT trails and routes. This role will cover the co-ordination and development of trail operations and maintenance programmes ensuring that New Zealand Cycle Trail design guidelines are followed.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Communication or Tourism Management is required, as is a high level of professional commitment and self-motivation. The ability to connect with a diverse range of groups and people is important, as a large component of this role is engaging with the community, interest groups, businesses and iwi.
